i can't install my HP photosmart C4180 printer. I achieve up to the point where you plug within the usb cable to the computer, (printer setup)but after that it doesn't work. I think it be after step 8. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still doesn't work. What the hell. anyways, i would appreciate it if someone know what to do. oh and after it didn't go through, i continued beside the instillation, and i tried printing, but there be no photosmart option on the printers detail. Can any one tell me how to attain it on the list, while still keeping contained by mind that it is compltley installed except for the printer setup part, and i can't return with it to setup?
basically, what do i do to set it up properly.
I involve backing installiing a printer?
uninstall it ... plug contained by the usb cable and cancel window trying to install it ... if u cant cancel window then run to control panel/device manager and uninstall it ... resign from the usb cable in .... afterwards try installing the disk .. if that doesnt work go support to device manager and find the printer and rightclick it and update driver ... after direct it to the driver on the disk ... itl be in one of the folders on in that ... once u get the printer driver installed next go fund and install any of the extra software u need by exploring the disk or watever ....
Do what ( dze ) told you + travel to the printer driver and set it as default driver.
Default Driver--been near done that!
if u plugged up everythang rite,den it should recognize da printer and install itself
