Have you tried Print Head cleaning ??

Start,

Printers and Faxes,

Right click Printer god,

then Properties,

consequently Utilities tab,

click Head Cleaning.
Is it set up to automatically print in black and white unless you click on color? That is adjectives that I can think of.
might have need of to go into your printer settings and correction the setting to color and do a test page.
you evidently didn't select the colored inwithin the printer setup dialog box.
When you go to print something the box that comes up, where on earth you set how many copies you want, also have a setting for if you want the document to be in color or black and white. You may enjoy to go underneath the advanced tab to find it, but if you select color it will start printing that way.
