If you want a black and white workhorse I recommend an HP LaserJet 1320, this is a small printer with a grating connection and duplex installed already, so you can hooked up the printer to you router and adjectives of your computers can print to it, and with the duplexer you can print on both sides of the page automatically, it prints 22 pages per minute and if you print smaller quantity than 10,000 pages per month you will be Ok, the printer cost is contained by between $250 and $300 depending on were you buy the printer. Cheap is not other best... A good printer is a laser for alot of printing, its a workhorse, the adjectives in ones are ok burt if you print alot try Epson or Cannon
