you should try to filter the ink pushcart. that might be the problem
Go to Epson's help site and see if they enjoy a fix...if not, they usually enjoy an email address where you can ask them what to do. I've done that next to Brother and they got spinal column to me within a daytime with a fix...
i only found this out with an HP printer. I don`t know it will work for you.. go to start-->control panel-->printers and faxes



right click your printer and travel to properties



click the "services" tab, and go to "align my cartridges" it should win rid of the lines.. or.. since it's not an HP just browse for the track to align your ink.
