did you verbs the tape rotten the cartridge? and is it seated properly
Somewhere surrounded by the menu options of your printer, in that should be an install / replace cartridge pick. Run it and let it do its diagnostic and alignment article.
Have you tried Print Head cleaning ??



Start,

Printers and Faxes,

Right click Printer icon,

later Properties,

then Utilities tab,

click Head Cleaning.
#1 How long did it steal you in between taking the tape out of its air tight wrapper and installing within your printer. In 20 minutes you could have dried out the ink.



#2 Did you remember to filch off the video? Most ink has cartridge on it to keep the heavens outside of the cartridge.



#3 What exactly IS your printer doing, if its "doing nothing" Im assuming you hold it plugged in and turned on. (You'd be surprised even the BEST forget to do this on occassion!)



#4 Call HP, yes you will be chitchat to India, but its your fastest way to a solution. 1-800-HP-INVENT
