printer, copier working fine but how do i connect the fax quantity to a phone line?
i know this sounds dense but how do i connect my adjectives surrounded by one printer to competent me to convey a fax?
Depends on the model of your printer. Some include a phone jack which you plug into the phone vein. Others don't. The ones that don't will work as a scanner to copy the document to your computer. Then you use Windows Fax Console to send the fax from your computer (requiring your computer to connect to a phone line).
If faxing isn't setup on your computer, follow the steps provided here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.asp...
Without Knowing More Detail About Your Printer, All I Can Suggest Is You Read The Manual Which Came With It Darl. If It Is A Stand Alone All In One Printer It Should Have Come With All The Parts You Need For It To Work In All Functions. That Should Include Some Kind Of Phone Connector? Goog Luck, Sorry I Couldn't Be Of More Help. Have a Gooday And A Beaut Christmas Darl!
near is a jack in the rear legs of the printer to connect to the phone and then you can use winfax to distribute direct from the computer or put the document to be faxed in the copy feeder and press fax on the printer
hope this help
Cable from telephone wall outlet to input on printer. Outlet on printer go to telephone.
If you enlighten me what all contained by one printer you've got, i'll be within a better position to help. You should hold a phone cable supplied with the tool, one end should plug into the printer and the other into the phoneline. If you're using broadband on like peas in a pod line after you'll have to put a filter surrounded by between the line from the printer and the phoneline. If you want more relieve give me a squeak on messenger.
